BTW, Elton John by himself took “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me” to #2 in 1974, and that was a MUCH better version than that screamer George Michael’ s addition. (Elton’s voice wasn’t shot yet).
If we include remakes, most of us would be much more familiar with Bobby Vinton’s “Melody of Love” from the ‘70s.
