Yesterday we were uncertain if it was US Attorney William M McSwain who notified President trump of Bill Barr’s corruption and blocking of election investigations. {Go Deep} Today President Trump released the letter confirming it was McSwain. [pdf HERE]
In previous comments attributed to AG Bill Barr, he claimed to have seen no evidence of election fraud. The Atlantic Article cites Bill Barr stating to an AP journalist December 1st 2020: ” To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election,” and then the article covers the fallout with the White House from that AP interview.
There’s a big difference between not seeing election fraud and purposefully blocking a United States Attorney from investigating allegations of fraud with a motive not to see it. This is blood-boiling:

While interesting, and potentially damning, that letter actually reads more like McSwain is fishing for DJT’s endorsement in the coming campaign.
A lot more detail needs to be on the table, or this is just another unsubstantiated claim.
Barr was a Washington insider and wasn’t going to die on the election fraud sword at the tail end of his career. He came out of retirement to serve......
Barr is/was polluted by Washington culture....it happens which is why nobody should go there for too long.
McSwain is fishing for an endorsement. The BEST thing he could have done politically is defy Barr, force Barr to fire him, then spill the beans.....in December. Conservative Pennsylvanians (me) would know he was a fighter and one of us. Now, he looks like just another opportunist.

If an order is illegal, an officer can make a reasoned judgement and do the right thing.

Once something is seen, it can’t be unseen and we see a lot of things now that we didn’t see before or that we denied seeing to ourselves, including Bill Barr.
Once upon a time, because I wanted to believe in lesser evils, I voted for Romney and also for John McCain.
