Who owes American blacks reparations:
Democrats (wanted slavery, fought to keep slavery, were KKK);
Britts (bought slaves from muslims, sold slaves to America);
Muslims (captured Africans, sold them as slaves to others).
I’m all for reparations IF:
1) the only people that collect them can document that their ancestors were slaves, and
2) the people paying the reparations are only those that are documented descendants of slave owners.
That won’t get very far.
The case can be made that poor blacks in America has squandered billions in “reparations” (programs) since the early 1960s
I will disagree in part with his comments about Rev. Jackson. He may be a dem operative and part of the problem now, but he took a stand when it was needed during the Civil Rights movement.
This article reminds me of Harry Truman’s famous reply when a reporter asked if he was going to give em hell.

Nice try but a weak attempt. This effort is the same tactic Rush tried in 1992, where he declared that he was going to vote for Bill Clinton. We were all shocked and appalled. We were disappointed in Rush. We thought Rush was smarter, better than that. We thought that we had misjudged his character. Only, he explained later it was just a ploy to get us voters to see that character counts. Clinton had no character so don’t fall for Clinton’s charm.
We got Rush’s point but no one appreciated being played. Rush never did it again, to my recollection.
Wayne Alan Root, I get your point and agree with the sentiment (make democrats own up to their policies) yet still adamantly disagree with reparations of any kind. But you should not use this tactic with your loyal readers. No one likes being played.

I’ve been saying this for a couple years now. Democrat party needs to be canceled too for their past sins of slavery. Make them pay reparations them make them disban.
This is stupid as agreeing to tear down statues because they were “evil racist Democrats”. Reparations will turn into a permanent direct wealth transfer from the white population to non-whites. I wish people would realize that “owning the libs” does absolutely nothing other than give them what they want and make Conservatives look like morons.

Yes, people from different cultures make different choices and have different outcomes. Some of those outcomes arise from events out of their control. Others are from a lack of critical thinking and reasoning skills that leads them to make poor choices that hurt them. Either way, they have to deal with those outcomes.
The key is to work hard, live frugally, and to build up an emergency fund (we all encounter unexpected expenses) and to be a good neighbor. Those choices tend to support a peaceful coexistence with others.
The CommucRats have been paying reparations and buying votes for years with our money primarily from the US Treasury!

I believe the blacks in Africa who actually kidnapped other blacks to sell to slave traders should be paying the reparations.
Don’t owe them a penny. We are not in arrears to former slaves.
