Former President George W. Bush celebrated his 75th birthday on Tuesday by shooting a 74 in a round of golf.
"Feeling good on my 75th birthday," Bush 43 wrote in an Instagram post. "And thanks to … Cape Arundel Golf Club for giving me a chance to finally shoot my age – with a stroke to spare."
A scorecard showed the former commander-in-chief scoring between 3 and 5 on each hole of the par 69 course – landing a bogey just once. He beat his rival by three points, according to the scorecard.

I think Gore would have invaded Iraq, just as Bush did.
But once Bush did it, the Democrats suddenly were against it.
There were plenty of Democrats speaking out against Saddam, before Bush took over.
I believe Bush views himself as a sort of place-holder/administrator for the deep-state and permanent Federal Bureaucracy.
He dares not speak against it on anything.
None of Gore’s judges would have been confirmed as the GOP held Congress at the time.
9/11 was also on his watch. Nine months was plenty of time to stop it.
“How many US dead soldiers were unavailable for comment?”
They were all waiting in line to let Rumsfeld know what they think of him.
Political commentary is funny sometimes. In that, liberal radical types have often said that Bush was to blame for 9/11, due to his failures to prevent 9/11. And here we have someone on a conservative site agreeing with the liberals. Interesting.
Big deal. I’m 75 and routinely do over 75 pushups every morning.
Meh, Kim Jong-Un shot 18 holes in one.
Yep...Bush had 74 “points” in his round of golf. I wonder how many strokes he had??
Well, who was President? The Buck Stops Here. Clinton of course bears a lot of the blame as well. But then again not a dimes worth of difference between the Clintons and Bushes.
Plueeeese. The go along to get along pubbies would have confirmed "none of Gore's judges"?
From your screen name it is plain that you like extreme adjectives, but NONE?
ok, got it.
Whoever is president when a tragedy happens is directly responsible. Got it.
Again, NINE MONTHS into his Presidency.
I wonder whatever became of that whack job lady that used to follow him around - Cindy Sheehan?
And 9/11 wasn’t a “tragedy” it was a man-made act of terror that could have been stopped.

Points? In golf? Maybe he picked up a 30 footer when the hole was conceded?
He protected his buddies in Saudi Arabia, helped them more than he did Americans.
Yawn
Which miniature golf course was this again?
From observing Bush, I have never seen him as an athlete. He looks stiff as a board.
It pretty hard for me to believe this guy shot a 74.
Did they mention anything about a dream?
