What I discovered about critical race theory in public schools and why it shouldn't be taught

-SNIP-

Critical race theory reformulates the old Marxist dialectic of oppressor and oppressed, replacing the class categories of bourgeoisie and proletariat with the identity categories of white and Black. But the basic conclusion is the same: In order to liberate man, society must be fundamentally transformed through moral, economic and political revolution.

In simple terms, critical race theory can be seen as a form of “race-based Marxism"; they share a common conceptual framework. Critical race theory was derived from “critical theory,” a 20th century ideology sometimes called “neo-Marxism.”

-SNIP-

First, these lessons primarily reduce individual students to the racial categories of “white,” “Black” and “people of color,” which are then loaded with value connotations – “white” students are labeled “oppressors,” while “Black” students are labeled “oppressed.”

Next, this framework teaches students to think that they bear responsibility for and are the beneficiaries of historical crimes committed by individuals who shared the same skin color; consequently, they must atone for their “white privilege." Critical race theorists in practice sometimes refer to this as "internalized racial superiority" within white people.

Finally, critical race theory ascribes a moral superiority to individuals based on their race –

-SNIP-

Legislation prohibiting critical race theory achieves three important protections. First, they protect students’ and teachers’ First Amendment right of conscience – they cannot be compelled to believe in racial theories that violate their sense of basic dignity. Second, they uphold the basic premise of the 14th Amendment, which guarantees that individuals must be treated equally under the law, regardless of race. Third, the legislation ensures that a state’s public institutions reflect the values of the public – in a representative democracy, voters decide which values to transmit through public schools, and legislators have the right, even the duty, to shape the curriculum to those ends.

Marxism always makes use of the bourgeoise and proletariat to drive strife.

Whites are labeled the Bourgeoise. Marxism always kills the Bourgeoise, if they don’t agree to become enslaved by the state.

Having said that, I do believe the real intent is to push whites to the brink, to the edge of the spear, to cause them to tribalize. When whites have tribalized the same way that blacks have been tribalized, the left will pivot and promise to give more privileges to whites than anybody else in exchange for their support and protection.

The solution is to not take the bait. Rather, stick together with other Constitutionalists and Bible believers as if our life depends on it. If we are to tribalize, to protect ourselves, this is were we should do it.

I've seen the lefties using the strategy of saying 'no schools are teaching critical race theory' because they don't call it that openly. It's like saying 'no schools are teaching grammar because they call it language arts, not grammar.

They lie about it using semantics because they cannot defend the substance. Don't let them get away with the lie.

On White Privelage CRT:

I finally understand the tenants of Critical Race Theory (CRT). Wikipedia was no help. Their description of CRT is sheer intellectual drivel. It makes no common sense. So here is my common sense approach to understanding CRT.

CRT is really an explanation of why minorities as a group, principally blacks, do not excel economically in the society of American opportunity. Economic failure results in a host of other societal ills, such as criminal activity. CRT believes that all racial groups are equally capable on an even playing field and should perform equally to whites. They equate an uneven playing field to “white privilege”.

Upon examining the premise of equality of capability and the societal construct of the playing field, there are two possible conclusions, either the premise of equality of capability is false, or indeed the economic playing field is biased in favor of whites.

The elephant in the room says that much has been studied regarding the lesser innate intelligence of American blacks. The “Bell Curve” and other studied around the world have come to this conclusion. It does not mean the black Americans are less human or less valuable in the eyes of God. So I pose that the premise of equality of capability is false. Why should this not be possible? White men can’t jump.

The minority standing on the sideline only see the outcome of the creativity, dedication and hard work of those that choose to compete. He assumes that all those people have succeeded with capabilities similar to his. This is an error. But his conclusion is that the playing field must be tipped in favor of the whites. What to do?

The best revenge for minorities against White Privilege is to compete and succeed. If you believe that the "playing field" is not level then you have two choices, compete anyway and work even harder to succeed, or go find another playing field.

The other playing field would be to succeed within your own minority community. Black owned businesses in Black neighborhoods, buying from Black distributors and producers.

Minorities will never find a solution in expecting whites to tip the playing field in their direction. The two groups have a completely different view of the field of competition. I think that whites go about their lives competing on the field of life and don't even see the blacks on the sidelines. Blacks stand on the sidelines and have no idea how to get on the field. For some reason they think they need to ask permission of the whites to play?

Just step on the field and compete! Or don't. It’s up to you. But don't blame it on whites if you can't.

One thing the Left knows how to do well is to LIE.

Do you want your grandkids flying in a place piloted by a person who has NO MATH skills???

How about the guy who engineered the plane?

Or the guy who engineered the bridge you have to cross to get to the airport?????

How about medicine practiced by a guy who was a solid D student but got into medical school on a ‘Lottery” system.???

You want to be a patient of that person??? ASSIGNED to you, of course-—there will be NO MORE CHOOSING BY THE PATIENTS.

When you destroy & malign MERIT, you are asking to retreat back into caves.

Marxism has as one of the foundations of the Faith, that there is no genetic component to ability — that with “proper education” anybody can be anything. And that happens to be false.

No amount of coaching given to a 5’2” guy will get him playing in the NBA. No amount of tutoring given to someone with an 85 IQ will make him a proficient theoretical physicist, or an MD whom I would be willing to trust my child’s life to.

This is a man (Rufo) who, during an interview, could not think of one good thing about being white.

That aside, fighting “Critical Race Theory”, or any other NAME, will lead to the anti-CRT people declaring victory as soon as the white haters are forced to name it something else. And, not for nothing, the first ones to lead the cheers will be the weak, stupid, cowardly Republicans, who have played no role in this fight other than to quibble over the name of this awful hate-filled ideology.

If they don’t teach white students that it’s good to be white, that they should be proud of the creation of the modern world (mostly) by white people, that white people created the Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution, ended slavery in the USA, and created a civilization on this contient that is (or has been) the envy of the world - then I have no use for them.

If they continue to preach and teach naked anti-white hatred, I don’t care if they take down the stupid NAME of “CRT”, because they have been teaching it under other names for 30 years.

You wrote: "Upon examining the premise of equality of capability and the societal construct of the playing field, there are two possible conclusions, either the premise of equality of capability is false, or indeed the economic playing field is biased in favor of whites."

Or, maybe all groups are equally capable, and bias isn't holding any "group" back, but the Left is telling a lie, as they always do. First, they tried to get people to hate the rich (top 1%). That didn't work. So, they went back to pitting racial groups against each other.

The Left doesn't point out that the vast majority of black Americans do not live in poverty. The Left doesn't say that, of the number of all Americans living in poverty, the greatest number of them are "white." The Left wants people to hate each other, so they push this CRT lie.

I liked your sports analogy of the playing field. We each pick a playing field, just like Olympic athletes do, each one a different shape and size - compare a gymnast to a hammer thrower to a sprinter - but all of them athletes.

The same is true with jobs. One person might excel in higher level math, and he becomes an engineer. Another person might be good at talking to people, and he becomes a salesman. A salesman with no college education at all might earn far more money than the engineer. These two people play different sports, but they both are athletes.

Within any group of people, the vast majority are not rich and powerful. And sometimes what appears to be wealth and success is only an illusion. That is, sometimes people live way beyond their means. They might earn a high income, but they still overspend, drowning in debt. The guy living in a shack and driving an old car might have oodles of cash stashed away.

Too many people look at what other people have, and they become envious without even knowing the whole story. The Left uses that envy to divide and conquer.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply.

I did not account for all the lies that are being foisted upon us.
