I think the creators of this wanted to provoke the reactions that they did. It validates them, and their view that the intolerant are unreachable bigots. But the next generation will grow up being more tolerant of alternate sexualities. And they know how much that pisses off the bigots, and they think it’s funny. They’re coming for the children in the sense that they want acceptance, but they know they’ll provoke a knee-jerk reaction.
Obviously, it’s disguised as parody. A very thin disguise.
You can tolerate only what you despise. In other words, how can you NOT tolerate homos in society? That’s not possible without breaking criminal laws.
They got “marriage” and an ultimate track to a nationwide “equality act” forcing acceptance, so they can take off their masks now. They could have never aired this before 2015.

One of many refutations of the “born that way” nonsense is the fact that if there were a “gay gene”, it would have long ago disappeared as it would not be passed on, at least not in sufficient numbers to survive. Also, studies of identical twins, who by definition share identical genetic sequences, have concluded that there is no statistically significant tendency for one twin to be homosexual if the other is.
Those two facts alone demolish any notion of a genetic basis for homosexuality.
Still, they’re mocking those too obtuse to see what they’re saying.
