on Fox & Friends First, Chicago Alderman Anthony Napolitano (R) compared the Democrat-run city to a “war zone” following a violent Fourth of July weekend.
HOST: [Chicago Mayor] Lori Lightfoot [D] has made statements saying that illegal guns are the problem in the city. What do you think?
ANTHONY NAPOLITANO: I think that’s pure nonsense. We have the strongest and the strictest gun laws in the state, if not the country. If you go to our surrounding borders right now, where we’re supposedly getting all the guns from, they have nowhere near the amount of crime as we do. We have a people problem here in Chicago. I’ve been saying that for a long time. We have zero accountable ability for people in Chicago. Nobody is raising their kids anymore; the gangs are raising them.
“We have a state’s attorney who is by far the worst in the nation and it’s all a trickledown effect,” he concluded

Tourist dollars to Navy Pier and other Chicago events and attractions have probably declined drastically, and Mayor Beetlejuice's ongoing COVID restrictions didn't help either.
Mayors like Lightfoot, Bowser, and Bottoms are probably going to be the last of the black Democrat Mayors. That is why the DNC is trying to rob Adams of his victory. Because black Democrats are so corrupt and incompetent that they bring down the party as a whole, and the D's can't have that. They need white Democrats like Richard Daley who was still corrupt but at least kept a lid on crime and made sure things like trash collection ran on time.
BTW this Alderman is an Independent. IL doesn’t require political party affiliations.

The TRUTH hurts...
Blacks are now told that nothing is their fault and that white people owe them and free everything, including a huge chunk of “reparations” cash. No wonder that the worst of them go on these shooting rampages.
