Actor and Happy Days star Henry Winkler, who once said he was thrilled to “help make Donald Trump a one-term President,” took to Twitter to proclaim that the United States needs a “cataclysmic event” in order for the nation to be brought “back together.”
“We are So divided as a country .. only a cataclysmic Event, that makes us depend on one another again, can bring us back together,” the Arrested Development actor tweeted, without offering any further context.

Henry Winkler has a reputation as a class act and great guy. He is correct we are divided. His catalyst for unity is a bit off though.
I was in the Marines with one of Mr. Winklers nephews. I’m sure he *means* well, but someone should’ve reminded him we’re *still having* a cataclysmic event, and the Democrats treated it as a crisis they couldn’t have exploited to any further degree than they had. And he thinks *another* one will bring us together?

A few months ago Alyssa Milano made a similar disingenuous appeal after 4 years of demonizing Trump supporters as knuckledragging low IQ racists. I “politely”tweeted her what to do to herself and the horse she rode in on. I did a 24 hr stint in twitter jail and then I closed my account and dropped them like a bad habit. Twitter didn’t cancel me I CANCELLED TWITTER.
No, We need the ages old Biblical answer to heal our nation and land. as the late singer Carman said back in the 1990’s “We need GOD in America again”. Yes that will heal our nation. I am 64 year old and this decline came about in my lifetime wrought by one woman’s “War On GOD” over prayer in schools. She ignited a firestorm which Marxist several decades embedded into our education system would fuel. O’hare shook her fist in rage at GOD and our courts supported her. Thus began the decline. Ironically her son for whom her rage was over went on to become a minister. Our nation needs to REPENT and ask GOD’s forgiveness because there is no other hope or cure for our woes as a nation.
