President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris hosted the Los Angeles Dodgers at the White House on Friday in the first visit by a sports team since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event in the White House East Room honored the Major League Baseball team for its October World Series victory.
“I think what we discovered [during the pandemic] is that we need sports more than we ever realized,” Biden said.
Biden said the “sense of community and pride” from sports is a “uniting feature.”

Screw these people. Sports teams did not want to visit Trump but run to see this diaper wearing dork.

Joe was really excited to meet Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale, and Walter Alston.

I’ve discovered I don’t need or want MLB anymore.
Oh, and last year 60 game season doesn’t count.
Signed, former Dodger Fan.

Joe was really excited to meet Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale, and Walter Alston. Yup. First thing he asked them was how was the drive down from Brooklyn?

I only follow MLB for Shoshei Ohtani.

I kicked MLB to the curb when those overpaid pampered pricks struck and abandoned the World Series in 1994-95. I’ve never watched a game since and never will. After that MLB became second fiddle to the NFL. Now both are seeing who can reach bottom first.

LOL, Joe would be behind the times, expecting to meet Dodgers from the ‘60s. LOL.

Pretty meaningless since they are visiting an illegitimate government.

It’s not so special anymore when a pro sports team visits the sitting president. We have all seen just how conditional their enthusiasm and respectfulness can be.
Just send an email next time. Save your airfare.
