Xi Jinping warns foreign nations will ‘get their heads bashed bloody’ during CCP speech

XI JINPING has warned foreign nations will "get their heads bashed" if they attempt to interfere with China.

The Chinese premier made the comment during a speech on Thursday to mark the centenary of the ruling Communist Party (CCP). Addressing a crowd of people at Beijing’s Tiananmen Square, Mr Xi condemned foreign powers that are trying to “bully” his country.

“Only socialism can save China, and only socialism with Chinese characteristics can develop China,” he said.

“We will never allow anyone to bully, oppress or subjugate China.

“Anyone who dares try to do that will have their heads bashed bloody against the Great Wall of Steel forged by over 1.4 billion Chinese people.”

He added: “No one should underestimate the resolve, the will and ability of the Chinese people to defend their national sovereignty and territorial integrity.”

Oh I don’t think the CCP considers us foreign under Biden.

These are the words of a paranoid man in panic mode.

These are not the words of a man with full confidence in his government’s iron-fisted rule.

He fears foreign interference because he knows his own people would oust him in a heartbeat if given half a chance.

Things cannot be going well INSIDE China.

The CCP holds the record for the largest body count of killing its own people in recorded history. The number is somewhere between 60 and 80 million. They currently have more than a million people working in slave labor camps to provide cheap labor for multinational companies like Nike.

The MSM adores them.

I do wonder about how the Chinese People actually feel about their country. Most people rather just get along with life without making a lot of noise.

This clearly crosses a line. When a Chinese general says, for example, that we risk “Los Angeles for Taipei,” the threats simply cannot be ignored.

The US is past the point where it can for much longer defend Taiwan militarily. We should not disavow that pledge (any more than good people should promise any bully), but realistically there will be a point where China has such an overwhelming advantage that the US can do no more than watch. That time may not be now, but neither is it a decade away.

The US has so very, very many principled options at its disposal to make life miserable for China. These are options that also stand on their own (open banking, a crypto dollar, a far greater commitment to engage with Africa,etc.). We need to get going on these, with the threat of sending them into overdrive if China turns into the predator that it is claiming it will be.

More ... The US should make clear that it has not made this situation. It began nearly 100 years ago and is being well and diplomatically managed by the US, to the point of accommodating a China that for decades we have hoped would behave responsibly in return.

This is a problem of their making. So don’t be threatening to nuke our cities.

China has massive internal problems. This is not an act of desparation on Xi’s part, as he is firmly entrenched. But it is a diversion intended to change the subject from a host of pressing issues. The US must be calm, resolute, unafraid, uncowed.

Give Taiwan nuclear weapons, and then it becomes “Beijing for Taipei”.

“ China has massive internal problems. ”

Xi believes he will get the Chinese to rally ‘round the Socialist by speaking like a Nationalist. China has a long history of getting pushed around by other nations and they have a chip on their shoulder about that.

My fear is the parallels to pre-WW2 Germany.

I do wonder about how the Chinese People actually feel about their country. Most people rather just get along with life without making a lot of noise.

Most are just like us - they focus on their own families and how to make money. They avoid issues they feel are too big for them.

In the past, local governments were detested as corrupt and stupid, while the central government was seen as a relatively honest entity. Since Xi Jinping arrived, that faith in the central government has been steadily eroding. Xi is seen as an emperor who makes his opponents disappear. The general public now fears central government corruption almost as much as local corruption.

China puts out a lot of Internet propaganda videos for internal and external consumption - so it's important to realize that many Chinese people don't buy it any more than we buy CNN. They are just more limited in their ability to oppose their Deep State than we are.

Strategic nuclear weapons will never be used. They are bluff weapons. There is no scenario where an advantage is gained by pulling the trigger first.
