Leftists try to make Miami's Surfside condo collapse into 'climate change' issue

The dead and wounded have not even been found or cleared from the rubble of the terrible Surfside condo collapse in Florida, and already leftists are trying to use the tragedy to blame global warming.

The latest instance: Michigan's former Gov. Jennifer Granholm, who's now serving as Joe Biden's energy secretary:

"Given what we know about the changing climate, given that you've seen an increase in so called extraordinary tides, and the impact that that can have in areas like south Florida, do you think that climate would have played a role in that building's collapse?" [CNN] anchor Erica Hill asked. The segment was accompanied by the chyron, "Could Climate Crisis Have Contributed to Building Collapse?"
"Well, obviously we don't know fully," Granholm replied.

"We know that we're losing inches and inches of beach – not just in Florida, but all around," Granholm said.
The secretary said she needed to wait to see the analysis of the current investigation into the building collapse, but said that we should "adapt" to and "protect ourselves" from the consequences of a changing climate. One possible solution, she suggested, was to pass President Biden's infrastructure bills.

Which was disgusting political opportunism played off the backs of the150-plus people who still lie buried in the tons of rubble. You'd think Granholm might have some kind of compassion for task at hand and maybe talk about the rescue and recovery opration, but nooo, she's off spouting Joe's political priorities, touting his infrastructure plan, and talking about saving the earth when it's Surfside's condo survivors who need saving, not the entire planet. She's basically using those Surfside deaths as a "news hook" to promote the political ends she wants to promote and too bad about condo.

These people are absolutely shameless, in exploiting a tragedy to push global warming or Joe Biden’s infrastructure .

The solution to building collapses, is to pass Biden’s bill? Can you pander any more than that? I mean, really, what the heck kind of people are these?

Bin Laden blasts US for climate change

CAIRO – Al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden has called for the world to boycott American goods and the U.S. dollar, blaming the United States and other industrialized countries for global warming, according to a new audiotape released Friday.

In the tape, broadcast in part on Al-Jazeera television, bin Laden warned of the dangers of climate change and says that the way to stop it is to bring “the wheels of the American economy” to a halt.

My collapse theory...

This was a Muslim terrorist attack on the passionately pro-Israel Jewish community in Surfside.

The terrorists simultaneously blew up the support columns in the lowest level of the parking garage.

So far, that is the only plausible explanation for a 12 story pancake collapse of a concrete deck building.

Each floor had a 6-8 inch poured concrete floor.

Each condo unit has at least four 18 inch poured concrete columns underneath it. Each column starts in the sub-basement and extends all the way up to the 12th floor.

Remember - this condo was constructed to survive a 150 mph wind for sixty minutes!

My terrorist theory...

Two theories, actually.

First, while Christopher Wray and the FBI were totally engaged in hunting down the January 06 Capitol Rotunda sightseers, Muslim terrorists murdered 150 Americans.

Second theory. Muslim terrorists jumped the Texas border, then rode a Biden Bus all the way to Miami.

When - or if - the forensic evidence shows that my theories are wrong, I will retract and apologize.

Funny how “climate change” brought down one tower, but not the adjacent towers just a few feet away.

It’s almost as is other factors were the real culprits; for instance, siting a multi-story structure on “reclaimed land” on a barrier island (these normally shift position over time), combined with a long-term uncorrected pool leak and exposure to saltwater and sea air.
