How did they feel about the risks of attending the "peaceful protests" that went on for many months?
Well, we already know more than half are suffering from dumbassery. 😲😷💉
I dont fear covid...I fear crazies...with fireworks.
“I hate people.”
The older I get, the more I hate them. Actually, I don’t really mind people... it’s stupid that I hate. Unfortunately, there is an abundance of stupid in many people.
My July 4th gathering with 20 family members will be just fine. We don’t bring guns to our party, and we will be out in the country, so I think we will be safe.
What a bunch of panty-waist sheep.
This is sickening.
Mean while in London this week!:
Summer Soltice fun without the masks, panic and spacing in London!
Freed from the Maskzi’s!
Typically many Family gatherings are risky. I avoid them when I am able.
How does that compare with the number of people who were fearful of getting together for June 19?
We’re having our awesome parade which of course was cancelled last year.
To Hades with the Branch Covidians.
Many in my family carry. We all never are far from our arms. Better safe than sorry
Sorry, I don’t believe anything from the ComPost
I lost a friend from middle school because of his morbid covid fear. We used to talk once a week or so long distance (he doesn’t have a mobile device or computer). He gets all of his news from the alphabet networks. Tried to tell him most of what he was hearing about the pandemic was BS, and he exploded. He hung up on me and we haven’t spoken since. That’s been months ago. I think a lot of these people who would ordinarily vote Republican, voted for Biden because of this non-stop fearmongering by Fauci and the media.
Did they poll every American to get that figure or just select college faculty and members of teachers’ unions? I know BS when I smell it and this poll smells to high heaven.
Last year we had the same July 4 gathering we have always had. Don’t know about this year with the holiday falling on a Sunday.
I would be interested in the demographics of that poll. I’d wager that it looks an awful lot like the red/blue voting map of the US from the last presidential election...
Translation: more than half the people we talked to, who even bother to answer our dumbass poll, are scared of their own shadow.
Half of the American population have a below average IQ. That is a scientific fact.
With the uncontrolled border, it is risky. There are a lot of people out there who hate us that can enter the country easily now. Heck, there are enough BLM and PROUD types that do not have to sneak in; they are already here.
Thankfully, all my family passed on years ago, so I don’t have to deal with any family disputes about the virus, or how I react to it. I’m spending the 4th of July with my niece and her family, along with my sister-in-law (my brother’s widow), at their camps in Cape Vincent, NY. They’re down to earth, and didn’t buy-in to the fear mongering. In a week or so, I’ll be heading to Indiana to visit my youngest son for a couple of weeks. My life has been pretty normal since this all started. I live alone, and have basically been practicing social distancing since I retired in 2003, mostly because after working in uniform in New York State’s prison system for 25 years, I can’t stand being around stupid people, and there’s way too many of them out and about these days to suit me.
