Los Angeles County is recommending that people return to wearing masks in indoor settings due to the risk of spreading the highly contagious Delta variant of the COVID-19 virus, regardless of whether or not individuals are vaccinated.
The Los Angeles Times notes that the Delta variant, first identified in India, is known to have infected 123 people thus far in the county, and has become the third-most common in California. It adds: “Of L.A. County’s confirmed Delta cases, 49 have been among residents of Palmdale and Lancaster. Fourteen cases were in people from a single household.”

Mine is put away until flu season next year. It is NOT coming back out for more COVID. They aren’t required here anyway. If next year’s flu season is mild it won’t come out then either.

Well, of course they do. And, they will keep peddling this nonsense (masks never did work for respiratory virii) until they run out of letters. It’s like training an animal. Once you find a technique that works, you stick with it. We have been trained to obey regardless of facts — simply because THEY have the guns.
Yep. Schools will be closed, new lockdowns imposed, more restaurants and small businesses destroyed, and there will be more calls for federal ‘stimulus’.
Destroy the country in order to save just one life. Of course, some people will continue to die from this virus or other ones no matter what we do, as they have every single year in recorded history. Viruses spread and infect people, as they have since the dawn of time. It’s only now that our country has lost its collective mind. The only thing I can see stopping this madness is collective prayer and a return to God. A healthy little rebellion against our ‘public health’ overlords would help too.
I will wait for the Zulu variant before I panic and wear 5 face masks instead of 4.
I’ve heard that though delta is very communicable it is far lees deadly than the original. So, who is lying this time?
