Usually, an Alaska Senate race in what is more than likely to be a GOP favored year wouldn’t make much noise. While it has trended towards democrats, it hasn’t done so to the point where the state is competitive. At least at the federal level. But 2022’s senate race will bring multiple storylines. Part of it will be Alaska’s new electoral system of a top four blanket primary runoff for the general. The other part is the status of incumbent Lisa Murkowski. While some, like Elections Daily Editor-in-chief Eric Cunningham, initially felt that Murkowski would be fine, that momentum is changing. I no longer think that’s the case. In fact, I think Murkowski is in more danger than most currently believe she is.

EVERY Bush League Republican needs to be replaced with a MAGA candidate.
That includes Micro Rubio and John Hoeven, Amnesty Senators up in 2022.
It might be changing for her this year, but it would be foolish to underestimate her. She is one of only two that won a Senate race as a write in.
Murky is toast.
2020 has forever changed the landscape for her. No Trump voter is going to vote for her. Not a single one. Trump won Alaska with 53% of the vote. Murky has never gotten above 50% in any of her wins. If every 2020 Trump voter shows up for the 2022 Senate race, Murky is toast.
She can learn to code.
How many times have we read that so-and-so RINO is in trouble.
Then they win the primary with like 80% of the vote.

Given how Alaska’s treated her? I don’t blame her for not stepping up, considering that her marriage has self-destructed and her kids have gotten screwed up. How much worse do you think she should have her life become at this point?
FYI, her finances have gotten so bad she’s doing YouTube infomercials for investment programs now. She’s broke and doing that kind of work will get her crucified even more if she runs for office.

Think twice. Rubio should be an easier win and with a bigger majority(3-4)seats he’d be more of an ‘irrelevant’ winner. I’d concentrate on McCarthy-keep him out of the Speaker chair. Same with red-state Cheney. Murkowski? I’m prepared to hold my nose and support her if she pulls off the nomination. If Cheney/McCarthy loses to a democrat (gop infighting)it would be for just 2 years.
