A police officer who was injured in the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection confronted House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., in a meeting on Friday, asking him to publicly denounce statements by GOP members who have voted against honoring police and downplayed the violence of the attack.

Fanone was hired by CNN... the sane company that hired videographer Sullivan and his fresh back from Vietnam female sidekick to video the riots, and who happened to be on scene when Ashli Babbitt was killed.
Supposedly his father is a Democrat donor and someone posted a photo of him posing with the Ukrainian Alexander Vindman.
Fanone was injured in the tunnel...I am not sure if it is the same tunnel where the female protester was beaten to death by cops, though. Wonder if he was one of them?
