We’ve had the filibuster almost as long as we’ve had the U.S. Senate. It has been part and parcel of our republican form of government from the beginning.
Scrapping the filibuster would not “preserve democracy”, but would change our form of government, making it more susceptible to leftist subversion. That is EXACTLY what the clintons, obamas, bidens, etc. want!!!!

Title is wrong. He wants to suspend the filibuster. It would be reinstated if the Republicans regain control.
