The Denver Post is either straight up lying or the most incompetent media outlet that covered the Western Conservative Summit over the weekend and resulting protest by leftist whacktivists.
Because according to the Denver Post, there was no protest:

Denver Post photographer, Helen Richardson, is always right next to Jeremiah Elliott capturing the action. Jeremiah Elliott is one of the leaders of the Denver area Antifa- BLM insurgents. This is the guy that was starting all of the fights.. like the 1930s Brown shirts .. He was involved in multiple previous assaults and was arrested several times by the Denver PD.

In the old spirit of “It Can’t Happen Here”, I could have imagined — years ago — some sort of scenario where the government declared martial law, locked down the free press, took over the media, and just blared government propaganda at people 24/7. That’s the sort of nightmare scenario that could happen in other countries, and (heaven forbid!) could even happen in the good old USA.
But I never imagined that thousands of media outlets would just sort of independently decide to lie to the public, turn themselves into propaganda outlets for an illegitimate government and promote tyranny and celebrate the loss of our basic freedoms.
Just didn’t see that one coming, I have to say.
Those cops just stand there and take it as the commie scum shower them with insults. I’m sure they’re dying to act, but their blue superiors have obviously ordered them to stand down.
If the commie scum tried that a few miles away in Loveland, they would have been tased, beaten, and locked up. I would hate to be a cop in a blue city.
