Certainly sounds as if there’s more to the story. Who killed Hurley? Who killed the bad guy? It is odd that there is little detail. I assume there are CCTV cameras around that might have gotten a scene capture.

We’ll have to wait see if there’s detail forthcoming.

Police have not confirmed who shot the alleged gunman, identified Tuesday as Ronald Troyke, 59, of Arvada, or how Hurley died.

So did Ronald Troyke also die or was he arrested? This poorly written article never says. One has to assume he died, but that may or may not be the case since they never provided his status.

It's a shame Hurley died. May he rest in peace.
