Pennsylvania May Not Reach 70% Vaccinated Rate By June 28, Mask Mandate Still in Place

Pennsylvania’s mask mandate is still in place, and the state may not reach the 70 percent vaccination goal before June 28 — the date the state is expected to finally lift the remaining mandate.

As other states began lifting their mask mandates, Gov. Tom Wolf (D) took a different approach, stating last month that he would not lift the Keystone State’s mask mandate earlier than June 28 unless it reached a 70 percent vaccination goal.

There's a mask mandate? I haven't been following it from the beginning, but in recent weeks when I go out I haven't been seeing many people wearing masks. Yeah, there are certainly the idiots you see on the road, driving alone, wearing masks. My daughter runs a restaurant and they haven't been wearing masks. I went to a biker bar on Saturday and I am pretty sure you would get your ass kicked if you wore a mask. Really nice fellas. Complete MAGA crowd there. However, on Monday I had my first altercation after all this time with a Karen about me not wearing a mask. I caulked that to me not looking my normal mean looking self. I must have been approachable. I verbally ripped her a new one. I was not pleasant about it.

Mask mandate or not I am going to live my life as free as I can.

The gamesmanship over the mask mandate in Pennsylvania ends on June 28 regardless of whether we meet the 70% vaccination goal. It could happen earlier if the 70% goal were to be met earlier than that date.

Is Gov. Wolf still playing games? Perhaps. But I think this particular game is over with the (PA) Constitutional Amendments passed & certified and they legislature taking action under authority of those amendments.

Mask mandate ended a while ago here in Bucks county. Stores and businesses stopped requiring masks back then.

No one is asking about masks any more.
