I just read this interesting letter, and want to pass it on:
- The idea is simple: harmonize the requirements to obtain RealID, obtain a password, or register to vote. It should not be easier to vote than to fly.
- If there is a problem with some people being able to do these three tasks, then fix the problem for those people. Don't weaken the barriers to fradulant voting.
Write your congressman or congresswoman. I have.
It should be easy to fly or buy a self defense weapon. #FIXED
No one mentions fingerprinting. It would not eliminate fraud but it would certainly be effective.

Where de letter be?
You don’t think that’s a Fourth Amendment violation.
It’s a Second Amendment violation to register a gun with the government (or should be).
My finger prints? No thanks.
It shouldn’t be easy. There should be requirements that you must satisfy in order vote. First requirement should be that you are not a criminal. Second, if you are a man, you must not be a leach, or a deadbeat. If you are not contributing to the upkeep of society (including providing for your own children) you sure as hell should not be allowed to vote. In face, a man who refuses to provide for his family should be arrested and sent to a factory and forced to be a productive, responsible citizen. No murderer, rapist, thief, or drug dealer should be allowed to sit on his ass in prison watching TV while everybody else is working his ass off to clothe, house, and feed him. If a man is too sorry to work, he should starve. Enough of this patronage of evildoers. Enough!
Okay thanks. They be going after a select group. Who’s next?

Damn, one punch should be enough.
This has been the point of disagreement since Florida 2000.
You need to be at peace with the fact that our enemies define "democracy" differently than you do, and that they seem prepared to fight for their vision.
The problem you face is that most Republicans seem to agree with the proposition that elections are better, more fair, and more legitimate if more, rather than less, people participate.
All these election-stealing techniques rely on the false belief among the population that "more people voting" is a good thing, when, in fact, it is a harbinger of doom.
The "conservative" position is a "yes, but" position, which is inherently weak when it opposes a "yes, yes, yes, obviously, you fascist" position.
It shouldn’t be harder to buy a firearm than to vote.
Both are protected.
Personally, I don’t think you should have to show an ID to fly, but you sure as hell should to vote.
I miss the pre 911 days of no IDs in flying...
