When it comes to chicken wings-- the prices are high and the supply is low thanks to supply-chain issues.
That's why a restaurant known for its wings is making a change.
Wingstop says it is now selling chicken thighs along with chicken wings.
The restaurant launched a virtual brand called Thighstop Monday.

Tip - If you frequently purchase whole chickens, but off the raw wings and freeze them in a bag that can continue to be added to. Eventually, you'll have enough for a batch of hot wings. Most people won't miss the wings off a roasted chicken since they tend to dry out and burn anyway. Also, use all three sections of the wings. waste not, want not.
Or use the tenders or slice up a breast.
Never understood why other parts weren't used. Hilarious the "throw away" parts are in such demand. Sort of like lobster used to be poor folk food.
I spatchcock mine so they cook more evenly.

I just grilled and we ate part of a spatchcocked chicken. As you say, the wings are fine.
I prefer the thighs anyway.

We have “vaccines” that implant genes in our cells, but we don’t have six winged chickens? Where are our priorities?
Because of covid disrupting the supply chain, chickens have thighs but not wings.

Chicken thighs have more flavor and a lot more meat. I prefer boneless better than bone-in.
