The Department of Justice (DOJ) under President Joe Biden has thrown its weight behind legal challenges to two state laws that defend fairness in women’s sports amid the transgender revolution.
“The United States has a significant interest in ensuring that all students, including students who are transgender, can participate in an educational environment free of unlawful discrimination and that the proper legal standards are applied to claims under Title IX and the Equal Protection Clause,” the DOJ claims in a “statement of interest” supporting a challenge to the West Virginia law protecting women’s sports, the Daily Mail reported.
“A state law that limits or denies a particular class of people’s ability to participate in public, federally funded educational programs and activities solely because their gender identity does not match their sex assigned at birth violates both Title IX and the Equal Protection Clause,” the DOJ argues.
The DOJ filed a similar brief in Arkansas, arguing that it is unconstitutional for that state to ban experimental transgender “treatments” for minors.
The Biden DOJ threw its weight behind court challenges from the American Civil Liberties Union and other pro-transgender groups challenging the state laws. The briefs claim that the laws violate the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment.
In the West Virginia case, the Biden DOJ claimed that Republican officials “legislated based on misconceptions and over broad assumptions” about biological men competing in women’s sports.
“That policy does nothing to further the state’s purported goal of protecting athletic opportunities for girls,” the brief argues.
That would come as surprising news to Selina Soule, a female athlete in Connecticut who lost multiple state championships to biological males who identify as female.

(the only reason to win state, is to get chicks.....well back in the day at least...my how the world has changed)
Give it 2-3 more years beyond that, and all the men's sports in high schools and colleges -- except maybe football and basketball, which will operate under some loose affiliation with the schools through separate privately-owned corporations -- will also disappear.
The only way any school can meet the stupid, irrational, and contradictory Federal interpretations of Title IX is to reduce participation in these sports to ZERO for everyone.

Discrimination based on sex was worded, at the time, that there are two sexes. Not 34 sexes. “Sex” referred to the bio-science definition at the time of the law.
I would make the case that in the public realm, segregating sports by gender is no different than segregating schools or bathrooms by race.
In fact, I would even go so far as to contend that this type of case supports my view that public schools have no place in a free nation.
Trump seldom mentions the issue because there's no way to reconcile this conflict between principles and politics.
Is it true what I heard on a talk radio interview last year that some elementary schools can decide on their own, without telling or asking the parents, to begin hormone shots to the child? This would be in cases where the school determines the child probably should start the transition to a different gender, in their opinion.
I never saw a printed confirmation of this.
Females who do not care if their children are shackled with unsustainable debt do not care if their female children are beaten in sports by transgender males.

Sports needs to go by XX/XY period! If a transgender wants to compete in women’s sports, her chromosomes need to be aligned.

Transgender females, i.e. a males who identifies as female. Another way to remember is to replace transgender with the word fake. Transgender woman equals fake woman.
