A study by researchers at the University of São Paulo's Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP-USP) in Brazil, reported in an article in the journal Psychological Medicine, finds for the first time that individuals exposed to a combination of these two factors - the presence of pro-inflammatory cytokines in the blood and cannabis use (either daily or during adolescence) - are more likely to suffer from psychosis than those who are exposed to neither or to only one. According to the authors, the study provides "the first clinical evidence that immune dysregulation modifies the cannabis-psychosis association".

The war against pot is over.
The pro pot forces won a complete and total victory against the prohibitionists.
After a protracted struggle, in the end it wasn’t even close.
People shouldn’t go to prison over it. But, sheesh, that stuff stinks. Someone is smoking it in another unit, and we can’t escape the smell.
I’d put every one of those demons in prison for a 100 years before letting even one person, especially child, end up with even 1 microgram of that psycho poison in their body and brain secondhand.
That is correct. Wherever one stands on the issue, legalized marijuana is here to stay, just like alcohol and tobacco.

The finding suggests that if your immune system is fine, smoking marijuana won’t make you psychotic.
It suggests that immunity is one among many factors that can increase the risk of psychosis from marijuana.
Their need for weed. It is an addiction! Don’t care what anyone says. I see it in relatives and friend’s dispositions. They think they can hide it and no one can tell. lol It smells also. Vaping seems popular. Can’t be side effect free.
I am worried. Some articles say it gets into your system secondhand, even if it’s coming through a vent, and you can test positive for it.
I bought air purifiers, but nothing gets rid of the smell. I like the smell of cigarettes, cigars, pipes. But this stuff smells awful.
Only some lives will be permanently ruined.
