First, the white backlash is occurring in the context of long-term erosion in the federal government’s legitimacy. Since 1958, the Gallup polling organization has periodically asked Americans how much they trust the federal government to do what is right. In 1958, 73 percent said ‘always’ or ‘most of the time’. Trust hit its high point in 1964, when that figure stood at 77 percent. Then it began to fall. By 1980, only 27 percent trusted the government to do what is right. That percentage rebounded to the low forties during the Reagan years, then fell to a new low, 19 percent, in 1994. It rebounded again, hitting a short-lived high of 54 percent just after 9/11. Then it plunged again, hitting another new low, 15 percent, in 2011. It has been in the 15- to 20 percent range ever since. A government that is distrusted by more than 80 percent of the citizens has a bipartisan legitimacy problem.
When a government loses legitimacy, it loses some of the allegiance of its citizens. That weakened allegiance means, among other things, a greater willingness to ignore the law. The federal government has enacted thousands of laws and regulations. Many of them apply to every family and every business in the nation. They cannot possibly be enforced by the police or courts without almost universal voluntary compliance. When a government is seen as legitimate, most citizens voluntarily comply because it is part of being a citizen; they don’t agree with every law and regulation, but they believe it is their duty as citizens to respect them. When instead people see laws and regulations as products of the illegitimate use of power, the sense of obligation ends.

Yes, sir, your order* of two medium rare squirrels, four whole salmon, a large bowl of blueberries and a honey drizzled piece of pound cake coming right up.
*Partially based on WWF “what do black bears eat?”
Blacks are constantly complaining that everyone is “racist” against them. In other words, other races don’t like them. Well, what does a good parent do if their first grader comes home from school and says, “Nobody likes me; nobody will play with me; everybody hates me”? Chances are you’d say, “Well, honey, how are you behaving toward the other children? Are you friendly? Do you play fair? In order to have a friend, you have to BE one. Let’s look at your behavior and see if maybe there’s a reason the other children don’t like you.” The problem is, nobody’s allowed to say that to blacks. The only cause anyone is allowed to consider is that other races, especially whites, are just vicious, hateful “racists” who don’t like the color of their skin. That’s one of the reasons why things never get better.
Do you think you can get away with being honest and telling the truth?
It’s worth a try...
Biggest racial divide will be between blacks and whites, but I still see greater cultural homogeneity both amongst the normies and within the underclass. Whether that is a good or bad thing I will leave to others to decide.
2) I’ve been hearing about this backlash by the white man all my life and then before I was born back into the 1960s when the black power movement was a thing. Didn’t happens then and won’t happen now. People are fat, happy, and are mostly conflict adverse. Folks will just self-segregate/sort (and not just by black/white) and go along to get along.
That is a “NEW Polar Bear” that has replaced the older model of Polar Bear.
It’s BEEN wrecking the US since at least 1957, in Little Rock,Ark.
Or ‘55, with Rosa Parks, the American Communist member, deliberately trying to create an incident.
Or in the late ‘40s, when Truman desegregated the Army.
Ran into that at the Las Vegas VA system. When they had check-in clerks, the blacks were always adversarial, i.e. I requested a change in info and was told "You're makin' me do all this extra work." (isn't that your job?)
After one skin doc was done with the visit, the black nurse left me lying on my back in the chair for 20 minutes. When I asked if the doc was finished, she said "Yes". Had I not asked, I'd still be there.
One time (only) I used the bus service run by the VFW down to Vegas. The black driver asked what time my appointment was and then drove all over Hell and Gone dropping off the others before getting to my destination. I was late and had to reschedule for a month later. When the same driver picked me up, he asked if I made it and I lied and said "yes". His face showed disappointment.
The VA there is like the League of Nations - never had a white person in 20 years - Orientals, Filipinos, you name it. The only ones I had trouble with were the blacks who all had an attitude, the rest are first rate professionals.
You described my experience exactly at my local, out clinic VA.
I interrupt their doing nothingness.
