A survey of U.S. members of the American Academy of Ophthalmology shows that more than 96 percent are fully vaccinated...
"As data and science-driven individuals, it's not especially surprising that nearly all ophthalmologists are vaccinated," said David W. Parke II, MD, Academy CEO. "The data is clear, the COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. It's also clear that getting as many Americans vaccinated as quickly as possible is the path out of this crisis. We encourage everyone to get vaccinated to reduce the risk of disease transmission and the emergence of new coronavirus variants."
Of the 8,000 members surveyed, 871 completed the online questionnaire. The survey was conducted from May 14 through June 8 and has a confidence level of 95 percent +/- 3 percent.

I can see they aren’t actually very data driven.
Lots of educated people did very evil things in some very advanced countries in the 20th Century...Germany being a major one. Doctors were the prime movers and shakers of the Nazi apparatus.
NOT saying this is the same scenario! Great! Be vaccinated. But it’s wrong to mandate it especially for young people.

When I was fostering a newborn, I took him in for a checkup when he was about 3 mos old. The mother did not want the baby vaccinated. So, when the nurse queried me about vaccinating the baby, I said no. She started arguing with me. We went round and round. I said “No, the mom doesn’t want the baby vaccinated.” Her final statement to me was, “You don’t have to tell the mother.” My mouth dropped. She finally left the room.
The only reason I can figure out is $$$$.
