House conservatives successfully derailed two bills that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi attempted to fast-track through the lower chamber of the U.S. Congress on Tuesday evening, a victory the chairman of the House Freedom Caucus told Breitbart News was “stunning.”

“That’s stunning,” Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), the House Freedom Caucus chairman, said in a phone interview on Wednesday.

Doing their job is not "stunning."

It is when you are in the minority and the majority's job is to keep you from doing yours.

At least 20 republicans voted to advance these piece of crap bills. They need to be replaced with someone who will represent their voters.

The Republicans manage to stop a process that requires a 2/3’s majority and then brag about it. Meanwhile the RATs maintain a party discipline that the Mafia must envy.

BFD. All Republicans should vote against everything the Democrats want all the time. The only problem I have with the freedom caucus is there are so few Republicans in the caucas and they do not list their membership so it is difficult to know who is in and who is out. Just another example of the lack of testicular fortitude the vast majority of Republicans have.

One of the Freedom Caucus’ victories, in addition to defeating the bills, was getting these RINOs on record with these votes. The same thing applies to the “blue dog” DemocRATS.

From the article:

“...One, the LGBTQ Business Equal Credit Enforcement and Investment Act, would have allowed for LGBTQ-owned businesses to get favoritism in lending in much the same way minority-owned businesses may. The other, called the Equal Access to Contraception for Veterans Act, would have facilitated government-funded access to abortion drugs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). ...”

It’s always the same people (Kinzinger, Upton, Katko, Chris Smith, etc.). Unfortunately, they keep getting reelected, mostly due to incumbency and ignorant voters. They are coddled by the Republican leadership. If Kevin McCarthy cared about discipline and focus in the Republican caucus, he would remove all of these RINOs from their committee seats and withhold funding to their campaigns.

Pelosi tried to ram these through with a “suspension of the rules” requiring a two-thirds supermajority to pass. That’s how they were able to block them.

“LGBTQ Business Equal Credit Enforcement and Investment Act, would have allowed for LGBTQ-owned businesses to get favoritism in lending in much the same way minority-owned businesses may.

“The other, called the Equal Access to Contraception for Veterans Act, would have facilitated government-funded access to abortion drugs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Democrat agenda - culture of death and perversity.
