NATO is essential to the Empire, not the United States. The former is a tumor on the later.

Biden is actually right about this. If it were not for NATO, the rogue nation of Switzerland would have invaded us a long time ago.

As long as NATO kicks back 10% to The Big Guy it is essential.

The Russian army is 10% of the size it was in 1989. NATO is not needed. NATO is an expansionist military wing of the EU and the globalist project now. NATO has attacked Libya, Syria, and is relentlessly moving East.

NATO is a money suck, and a full employment scheme for European bureaucrats. The smartest thing France ever did was expel them from Prince soil.

And just like everything else he’s going to put member nations payments in the wrong side of the US balance sheet. A trillion here, a trillion there....

What a skilled leader he is, inviting a crisis in NATO.

The only upside to this jerk is that I can hear the swamp hawks gasping in disbelief, getting exactly what they deserve.

Just ask yourself, if NATO ended tomorrow, what on Earth would we do?

For myself, I would deal with it as follows: I think I would go to the office and work hard. I’d probably go home in the evening and have dinner, then watch some TV and go to sleep. Oh wait, I was going to do that anyway.

NATO has long lived out it’s usefulness. Let Europe protect itself and pay for it. Dissolve our participation.

When most things are essential, it is easy to explain why.

Sometimes we have to step back and remind ourselves that Josef Stolen is only parroting what his staff tells him to say. The necessity of NATO is or should be reflected in the diligence of its member states to contribute to its upkeep. They haven't, actions don't lie. If they don't consider it necessary, why should we?

The focus of any multilateral diplomatic arrangement blurs in proportion to its size. NATO is not what it started out to be and neither is its mission, which Joe couldn't have articulated on his long-past best day in the first place. It's just words now, not his and not very convincing.

Sometimes we have to step back and remind ourselves that

These world leader meetings are meaningless in the long run. Trump actually exacted some action items.

The Russians might take over the Baltic and Ukraine though. They sense Joe Biden is weak so they are more likely to do it. Rhe Poles better be ready to fight.
