(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either opinion, or satire. Or both.)

Putin knows that he can walk all over Biden, but couldn’t walk over Trump. Mutual respect comes from those you can’t easily defeat. Brezhnev and Gorbachev both had a healthy respect for Reagan (as well as Andropov and that other guy).

The Biden Putin summit will turn out like the Kennedy Kruschev summit. After Kruschev attacked and scared the shit out of Kennedy, he knew Kennedy was a pussy and, many people forget, Kruschev built the Berlin Wall soon after that summit knowing that Kennedy was a pussy. The same will happen with the Biden Putin summit. Putin will realize how very compromised Biden really is and will take full advantage immediately after the Summit. Expect a full court press from Putin, even more cyber attacks, even more encroachment on NATO, even more compromising western democracies. This summit is a very bad idea. It should be cancelled for the sake the free world.

You did not just say the Berlin Wall was built in the 60’s.

Yes: one won the presidential election, twice; one has yet to win a presidential election.

Khrushchev had become emboldened upon seeing US president John F. Kennedy's youth and inexperience, which he considered a weakness. In the 1961 Vienna summit, Kennedy made the error of admitting that the US wouldn't actively oppose the building of a barrier.[49] A feeling of miscalculation and failure immediately afterwards was admitted by Kennedy in a candid interview with New York Times columnist James "Scotty" Reston.[50] On Saturday, 12 August 1961, the leaders of the GDR attended a garden party at a government guesthouse in Döllnsee, in a wooded area to the north of East Berlin. There, Ulbricht signed the order to close the border and erect a wall.[5] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berlin_Wall#Start_of_the_construction_begins_(1961)

Why wouldn’t he?
The Berlin Wall was begun in August of 1961.

My memory is not sharp here.
I am incorrect and thought the wall was started much earlier.

Damn, I hate feeling weak on the national stage. I remember how embarrassed/disgusted I felt with Obozo bowing, apologizing and kissing the Saudi king’s ring.

Lot of that on Kennedy is a myth to this day. Having read quite a bit of information on Kennedy the last few months that is untrue.
