The idea that the US must allow immigration from anyone claiming “bad conditions” in their home country is simply insane and unsustainable.
9-0. Wow. It looks like Biden will now have to pack the Court with at least 10 new justices.
Another unanimous decision (written by Kagan, no less) on a case that many would have predicted to likely split among party/ideological lines. It sure feels like the Court is sending a not-too-subtle message.
Perhaps all 9 have realized that the politization of the court has went too far with the threat to pack the court.
On the other hand, they may just be saying, they can be political, but the Senators should not infringe on their turf.
We will see.

Usually the RATS have enough spies on the Court they have a rough idea what the vote is going to be and who’s arm to twist.
If its going to be a blowout, it never sees the Court.

They either twist it or ignore it, but never abide by it.
It appears that the SCOTUS - including all the Commie plants - is engaging in a little political warfare of their own, warning off the Rats from the intimidation games they have been playing.
It will be a long long time if ever for the Rats to pack the court. In the meantime, the Robed Ones can really deep six every little initiative they have, leading to a Republican resurgence in the next election cycle.
So this is the second unanimous defeat of the usual legal chiseling that the crimithugs engage in.
The heads must be spinning off over in Shoomerland. But they’re between a rock and a hard place: the court is the only way they have been able to prevail in the last 55 years. Now that they’re going hard line, that means nothing good happens for them. And you can expect Judge Benitez’ decision to be upheld as well, meaning that Feinstein’s signature destruction of American rights will end up in the dustbin of history.
Time will tell if this moderates the behavior of the Kamala Harris Gangsta Thug wing of the Rat party. My guess is that it won’t, they will go full Chavez on the court. After all..they’re Third Worlders, restraint is not in their vocabulary. They just managed to steal a landslide election in full view and then blame it all on the victim (”Extremists”), so rolling the SCOTUS...they’ll try.
