The idea that the US must allow immigration from anyone claiming “bad conditions” in their home country is simply insane and unsustainable.
Yeah, if "bad conditions" were sufficient to claim asylum, the entire populace of Chicago could simply apply for - oh, wait...
Regards,
Like Portland? Minneapolis?
Ctrl/Sth America has been a mess for decades and will continue to be so. They seem unable to resist corruption and crime down there. Sadly, we seem to be catching up quickly.
You're right it's insane - but it's also a way for the criminal democrat party to maintain power while killing or hurting Americans who have lived here for generations... it's also a way for democrats to replace their black pets... with larger numbers of the 'new poor'...
It is like saying Davos is a very wealthy community with superb conditions and I, therefore, have a right to move there and be supported by the residents thereof.
I had this discussion with my 20 year old daughter about six months ago when I was complaining about immigration and wages and she interjected "Well, someone has to help them." I replied with "There are 320 million Americans and 6.7 billion people outside the United States, most of which are much poorer than Americans. How many should we take in? How many can we take in and still be America? Is it 100 million or 200 million? Should we stop government funding for education to feed and clothe them? What if we admit 1 billion foreigners? If we did do you think your vote would still count?. Do you think English even be the primary language any more?" She looked at me in confusion and her young mind had no answer.
