Russia plans to have the construction of Nord Stream 2 pipeline completed by the end of the year.

"The works did not stop; the operator and the companies partaking in this project continue to implement it together. We hope this work will be over, perhaps, by the end of this year", DW quoted Aleksandr Novak, the Vice Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. The official spoke at the Petersburg international economic forum.

According to Novak, the overall length of the pipeline is 1,230 kilometers, and another100 km remains to be laid.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Parliament passed the decree No.5520, in which the MPs turned to the United States asking to implement the sanctions against the company responsible for the construction of Nord Stream 2 pipeline.

In December 2019, the U.S. introduced sanctions against the Nord Stream II, and Swiss-Dutch company Allseas stopped works on the pipeline; Russian gas monopolist Gazprom decided to complete the works on their own production capacities.

On July 24, 2020, it became known that the U.S. Senate approved the draft defense budget with sanctions against the Russian Federation.

On October 20, the United States announced the expansion of sanctions on companies that provide services to ships laying the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.

Yet Biden lifted all sanctions on it, and most sanctions on Russia, and got a cut for “the big man” for doing so.

The communists in the EU want this and the communist Green Parties are silent.

Meanwhile, Keystone XL has languished for a decade.

We should be allied with Russian, but unfortunately Ostia has always been fighting Estia.

So we should go around blowing up the infrastructure of any country that doesn’t listen to what we command them to do / competes with us economically?
