Former “Hardball” host Chris Matthews said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” that he departed the network because he “remarked on somebody’s appearance in the makeup room.”
As Mediaite pointed out, in March 2020, Laura Bassett claimed that Matthews “inappropriately flirted” and made her feel uncomfortable before appearing on his show.

it was most likely something incredibly innocent that some leftist shrew blew out of proportion. As much as I dislike Chris Mathews, I suspect you are right.

There are situation where women should not be told they are pretty. Job interviews come to mind. Actually anything work related.
You also have to realize that most democrat women are not pretty. Ugly from the inside out.
