Taiwan’s foreign minister has warned China is “preparing for war” as the island country braces itself for future conflict. Joseph Wu said Beijing has been trying to “cut off” Taiwan from the world with military actions and international pressure.
Beijing regards Taiwan as a breakaway province and has threatened to start a conflict in order to reunite the island with mainland China. Mr. Wu was asked what he believes Beijing’s intentions are in the wake of increased military drills and aggression.
The minister said: “I think Beijing has been preparing for war against Taiwan, and that is what we have been seeing. They are preparing for it. “If you look at the number of sorties (attacks from troops), it’s around 2,900 times last year. So, the threat has been increasing.

They should have figured by now that they can’t hope for help from the USA.

Taiwan needs to sign a 5 yr. no-nuke agreement with the US, similar to Iran.

Before getting all worked up one should take some time and see the difficulties involved in invading Taiwan and Taiwan’s lever of preparedness. A Chinese victory is by no means assured. China’s army is a political army. It’s leadership is corrupt and chosen by Party loyalty. Don’t fall for the propaganda the Chinese push about their capabilities.

Not a way to win a war
Ours is heading in that direction as well.
China starts a war with Taiwan it is because they think they can beat the USA somehow.
However, we cannot blink either. Taiwan would have to fight for every inch of ground. And China would blood its military, which hasn’t seen war or tested advanced combat in real fighting in decades.
They could just drop another bug over here and they win. Apparently, it’s that easy.
And Biden will do NOTHING to stop them, because they OWN him. He’s their puppet. He’s in Xi Jinping’s pocket.

There are plenty of places that discuss this in a rational fashion. Try a search. There is a youtuber called “Binkov” who has an interesting evaluation of a possible conflict. Search “Binkov Taiwan” on youtube.
I had hoped you had enough knowledge about it to give us a few sentences or a few paragraphs of summary.
