I believe it refers to the fact that while the Roman soldiers knew they were killing a convicted man they DIDN'T know they were nailing up the Son of God, they couldn't understand that even though they had been given the word.
What gets me here is that these "students" know exactly what destroying Israel means but all the noise in their Social Media echo chambers declares that genocide and murder are ok as long as those being killed are Jews. Ugly stuff and scary.

If I lived in Portland I would move. That place is making news for terrible things every day. This is a US state and sounds like a third world country. Riots constantly. If anyone here lives there I don’t mean your bad people I hope you get out of there. Place has gone to hell. Businesses burned down and people getting killed and hurt for no reason other than the politicians have picked that place to let it happen. Get the leaders if Oregon out of office. Surprised the people there haven’t done something about it.
