Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul's wife took no prisoners in a Twitter thread blasting political extremists, following a death threat sent to their house.
"I got the death threat letter and called the FBI. This kind of violent threat is fomented against Rand daily by @ReallyAmerican1, a Dem PAC that pays thugs like @mmpadellan, to celebrate the assault that nearly killed Rand. @DNC ignores. @richardmarx was inciting more violence just this weekend," Kelley wrote.
"For years people like @BetteMidler have cheered Rand’s horrific attack and serious injuries. The former teacher of the year @RodRobinsonRVA tweeted that Rand’s attacker was a 'hero' and urged Mitch McConnell’s neighbors to 'step up'. Why is he still teaching?"

Paul’s wife is a tough woman.
We were taught that in one of my CHL classes. The instructor said to never advertise that you have a gun or may have one in your vehicle. Vehicles are often targeted if the thieves think they can score some weapons.
Still, I know how she feels. That walk she and Rand had to endure in DC when the BLM mob was in full force has obviously affected her.

I’m a proponent of letting people decide for themselves. We were in Louisiana last week. My Illinois CCL isn’t honored there. But open carry is legal. So that’s what I did.

I concur that she should not publicaly detail the what her firearm inventory contains, but rather mention that she is seeking to acquire some personal protection. Then write a short list of suggestions. Finish with “... some of these may already be around the house - somewhere. C’mon by and I’ll show you what I can find.”
In any case, anyone who tweets is a twit (although there are a few exceptions). Most social media is for the folks with low self esteem and no confidence and are in constant need of self afirmation.
I’m sure Rand Paul is still cringing at what she has done.
Bad decision on her part.
