Malaria kills an average of 400,000 people globally, mainly children. A new vaccine is said to have improved a lot on its efficacy in containing the disease...
The vaccine, developed by scientists at the Jenner Institute of Oxford University, showed up to 77 percent efficacy in a trial of 450 children in Burkina Faso over a period of 12 months...
The Oxford vaccine is the first to meet the WHO goal of 75 percent efficacy against the mosquito-borne parasite disease. Larger trials are now beginning, involving 4,800 children in four countries.
The hunt for a malaria vaccine has been going on the best part of a century...
The project was through collaboration with Oxford and also Novavax, which is supplying the adjuvant, a substance that enhances the immune system response.
“We are highly confident that we will be able to deliver more than 200 million doses annually in line with the strategy, as soon as regulatory approvals are available,” they said.
Prof Adrian Hill, director of the Jenner Institute, where the Oxford/AstraZeneca Covid vaccine was invented, said he believed the vaccine had the potential to cut the death toll dramatically. “What we’re hoping to do is take that 400,000 down to tens of thousands in the next five years, which would be absolutely fantastic.”...
The vaccine will be manufactured at large scale and low-cost, say the researchers, who have arranged a deal with the Serum Institute of India, which is involved in manufacturing the Oxford/AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab...
Hill said the best-case scenario was approval by the end of 2022, by which time the Serum Institute would have plenty of capacity.

But the vaccine industry is evil. Evil I tell you!!! /s
This will be a blessing for a large part of the world
I heard DDT was cheap and near 100% effective, and you did not even have to inject it into people.
P.S. if anyone is going camping next weekend make sure you grab a ThermaCell. I know there is massive debate about these, but mine works well for me, and I won’t leave home without it
This will be a blessing for a large part of the world
Nowadays they use the term “vaccine” for some things that are not vaccines (COVID).
If we call DDT a vaccine and say it’s just experimental, can we bring it back?
For anyone else curious...

Wonderful news.
This is from the same lab that did the AstraZenaca Covid vaccine.
I wonder if the billions invested this year in vaccine R&D will have positive spin-offs? Could the mRNA technology get us better flu vaccines? Will other diseases be figured out?
I have one Gin and Tonic every night and I’ve not had malaria once.
Here is the long history of the evil vaccine cartel.
Required reading for all vaccine pusher shills
They'll be right along with kooky conspiracies of how this vaccine is a secret plot by Bill Gates or the Illuminati to kill off or sterilize the world!
Thanks! Whenever I’m looking for good factual information I always turn to WordPress blogs.
I’d rather have covid 10 times than malaria once.
Vax worship is equally idiotic
who is worshipping vax? They are a useful tool like any other useful tool
Never heard of anyone “worshiping a vaccine”. It’s a tool to control a specific disease. Nothing more or less. Malaria kills a million people each year, mostly children. If the vaccine works, it will save millions of people. That’s a good thing.
They couldn't stand the thought of a growing third world population competing for the profits from their own natural resources.
Yep, when they work.
“Historically, the vaccine (smallpox) has been effective in preventing smallpox infection in 95% of those vaccinated.”
“Vaccine (smallpox) efficacy has been estimated to be between 90.7% and 97.1%.”
“Routine smallpox vaccination among the American public stopped in 1972 after the disease was eradicated in the United States.”
“Two doses of inactivated polio vaccine (IPV) are 90% effective or more against polio; three doses are 99% to 100% effective.”
“The polio vaccine provides lifelong immunity and is the only means of polio prevention. There are two types currently available: the oral polio vaccine (OPV) and the inactivated polio vaccine (IPV).”
“Thanks to a successful vaccination program, the United States has been polio-free since 1979.”
Let’s have more of these types of vaccine success. Back when vaccines were vaccines.
Why not a lockdown for all of us?
