Nevertheless I believe the conservatives should get him legal rep to fight this seizure. As he wrongly is not charged with a crime the seizure cannot be a forfeiture. Making it just plain theft.
You are correct that everyone should be treated the same under the law. As this develops it should be determined what the law is as relates to him.
The article says he IS being charged with multiple crimes.
I also am having a hard time understanding how authorities could just take his money. I guess they were considering that he was committing a crime while filming in the Capitol. And profiting from that crime is also a crime.
