Well, technology withheld for 60 years is going to be outdated by now. Even technology available but hidden from the public back in 2004 (when the first tictacs were experienced by the Navy) would be getting long-in-the-tooth by now.

Something is definitely coming. It might be a disinformation campaign by the military-industrial complex or a revelation about some new discoveries in nature (including intelligent non-human life).

As an aside, it is doubtful whatever is being seen by the government is Russian/Chinese. If that were the case, our enemies would be behaving in ways that demonstrate their advanced superiority.
