Slide from social justice class lists 'Make America Great Again' as 'Covert White Supremacy'

Among the material associated with a Maryland public school's five-day social justice summer course is a slide that identifies the phrase "Make America Great Again" as a type of "Covert White Supremacy."

The slogan, often abbreviated "MAGA," has been a staple of Donald Trump's political career.

Judicial Watch obtained the slide and other materials related to Thomas Pyle Middle School's course titled "Reading and Taking Action for Social Justice."

"The enclosed materials were prepared to include in the class; however, many of the materials were not shared with students," according to the cover letter provided along with the course records. It also states that the class "took place July 13 through July 17, 2020 and met for 50 minutes each day. No grades were given and no actual work was due."

The middle school is connected with Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland, a school district that awarded more than $454,000 for an "Anti-racist System Audit."

We should have ended Ted Kennedy’s immigration changes that basically cut off European immigration to this country. While working in Europe I met lots of working class people who would love to immigrate to America. This includes Irish, French, Dutch, English and Germans. They were all tired of the taxes and lack of advancement opportunity for them and their children.

I can get angry at this because of the racism against whites, but honestly it doesn’t get me worked up too much. I suppose being white and absolutely superior (I guess that makes me a white superracist) that allows my mind to work on another whole level that these leftists do not. I know that “Reading and Taking Action for Social Justice” doesn’t teach Johnny to read. That pisses me off. I know it is a waste of tax dollars. I assume this school receives federal funds, so I paid those taxes. That pisses me off. I know that some, more than likely functionally illiterate, teacher is getting paid to teach this tripe. I don’t like teachers. AT ALL. That pisses me off. I know that the entire racist bent to this serves a greater purpose of creating an environment that requires dependency on government to solve every little problem. That is socialism. And here you have it folks, that really pisses me off.

How long ago was that? I’ve met some Eastern Europeans who immigrated here, and they seemed very happy about living in America, but Western, Northern, and Southern Europeans seem to be a different story. My dad has relatives in Italy and while they love to vacation in America they don’t seem interested in moving here on a permanent basis. Judging from what I’ve seen online many Europeans seem to think the US is a hellhole where you have a decent chance of getting shot as soon as you step outside your front door. All lies and propaganda, of course, but they seem to believe it.
