Easiest way around that law is to use a foreign vaccination card as a template for a fake. No Federal jurisdiction over that, I’ll bet.

If people walk in vaccinated — WHO CARES!!!! People who have vaccines shouldn’t care because they are protected by their vaccine! SO WHO CARES!!!!
WHAT only vaccinated people can drink with vaccinated people? Why get the vaccine if you are just drinking with vaccinated people? What is it protecting you from?

Definitely true. Measles is very antigenically stable: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4848602/
Thus far, SARS-CoV-2 has displayed some antigenic variability that has limited the effectiveness of antibodies from infections with other variants (e.g. P.1 in Manaus), but those antibodies do remain at least partially effective. It remains to be seen how much of that is a limitation based on ACE2 binding restrictions and how much of it is blind luck. 18 months in, we have a pretty decent idea that it’s probably the former. That’s good news for anyone who’s vaccinated or who’s had a severe case of COVID-19. They likely carry some pretty sturdy immunity for quite some time (e.g. 1-3 years).
