An associate of Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz and a key figure into the federal probe against him pleaded guilty Monday to multiple crimes, including sex trafficking of a 17-year-old, according to news reports.
The associate, Joel Greenberg, a former Florida tax collector, pleaded guilty to six federal counts in a case that sparked a federal investigation into Gaetz. The congressman has denied any wrongdoing.

They already have. His lawyer held a press conference and admitted they were negotiating a plea contingent upon their cooperation against Gaetz.

Sounds a lot like how Michael Cohen was going to flip on Trump and bring him down. I believe NOTHING from the media, our courts or our fraud government anymore.

An associate? So, somebody he knew? Worked with at one point? Anyone who has a job has associates. Doesn’t make us responsible for their personal life choices.
This guy has already pled guilty so there was no “deal” made. If he had anything on Gaetz why didn’t he get a plea deal?

Birds of a feather usually flock together. I have never done drugs and other than a few speeding tickets never commited any crimes and I don’t hang around or associate with people who do.
Gaetz is just another young single horny politician who when pretty young gals offered him services he could not turn them down. I have no problem with that other than the alleged 17 year old.
I worked in our state capital for a quarter for a college poli sci class. The amount of hanky panky going on with interns was off the charts and this was early 80’s.
Hasn’t been sentenced yet.

I think the “teen” involved has stated that everyone on the trip she took with Gaetz was 18 at the time, so even if it’s a little creepy, it wouldn’t be pedo. Another accusation is that a lobbyist paid for everything, including the escorts.
I hope Gaetz was smart enough to avoid stuff like that. Only the left gets away with such things.
Right. But, he was indicted for over 30 federal crimes many of which were multi-count indictments. He was looking at life in prison.
So, he’s reduced his criminal exposure by two-thirds and will likely get sentencing consideration. But, he plead guilty to some serious weight, which underscores how dire a situation he was in.
Someone agrees to plead guilty and cooperate with the government in exchange for the government’s promise to move for a substantial assistance at sentencing.
Heck 17 yr olds and up have their photos all over the internet inviting hookups.....
