Israel gave an hour warning and then destroyed the offices of Al Jazeera and Associated Press.
GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) — An Israeli airstrike on Saturday targeted and destroyed a high-rise building in Gaza City that housed offices of The Associated Press and other media outlets. Hours later, Israel bombed the home of Khalil al-Hayeh, a top leader of Gaza’s ruling militant Hamas group.
The Israeli military said Al-Hayeh’s home served as part of what it said was the militant group’s “terrorist infrastructure.” Al-Hayeh is a senior figure in the Hamas political leadership in Gaza, and the attack marked a further escalation, signaling that Israel is going after Hamas’ top leadership, and not just military commanders. His fate after the strike was not immediately known.
AP staffers safely evacuated the building after the military telephoned a warning that the strike was imminent within an hour. Three heavy missiles struck the 12-story building, collapsing it in a giant cloud of dust.
For 15 years, the AP’s top-floor office and roof terrace were a prime location for covering Israel’s conflicts with Gaza’s Hamas rulers, including wars in 2009 and 2014. The news agency’s camera offered 24-hour live shots as militants’ rockets arched toward Israel and Israeli airstrikes hammered the city and its surrounding area this week.
“The world will know less about what is happening in Gaza because of what happened today,” AP President and CEO Gary Pruitt said in a statement. “We are shocked and horrified that the Israeli military would target and destroy the building housing AP’s bureau and other news organizations in Gaza.”
The building also housed the offices of Al-Jazeera TV, as well as residential apartments. The Israeli military said Hamas was operating inside the building,, and it accused the terrorist group of using journalists as human shields.
It blowed up real good.
Why did they give AP the warning? They are journo- terrorists spewing disinformation.
Israel should have made the missile look like a scaled down 767.

Except for a few burn marks on the surrounding building and likely some broken windows the missiles did a 100% perfect implosion job on the AP building.

How ironic that they are complaining about aircraft taking down buildings into a pile of rubble.
They should thank whatever god they serve that they were given warning and could evacuate.

It states that “Israel Bombs Media”. There are lies and there are damn lies and that’s a damn lie. Israel didn’t attack the media at all; it attacked a building.
In fact, Israel gave the media and all occupants of the building one hour to get out.

The IDF said the building housed Hamas intelligence, which was using the foreign media outlets operating out of it as cover.*
The strike came nearly an hour after the military ordered people to evacuate the building, which also housed Al Jazeera, other offices and residential apartments.
The wave of violence in Jerusalem began on April 15, when a young Arab man from Jerusalem uploaded to Tiktuk his documentation of a powerful slap in the face, so to speak, to an ultra-Orthodox boy on the light rail.*
The trend soon spread and many young Arabs began to upload countless videos in which they were seen attacking police officers, humiliating ultra-Orthodox passers-by and beating them with severe violence.
