Thousands of people have gathered on the streets of central London to protest in solidarity with Palestinians amid the ongoing conflict with Israel.
"Immediate action" is needed by the UK government, organisers say, to help end the "brutal" violence against the people of Palestine.
By Saturday afternoon, thousands of people had marched through Hyde Park in central London, chanting "free, free Palestine", and gathered outside the Israeli embassy in Kensington.
Organisers say that 100,000 people had joined the crowds in Kensington outside the embassy.
On a makeshift stage on Kensington High Street, Labour's Diane Abbott told the crowd: "We must remember we are part of an international movement.
"This is a worldwide movement for justice.
"Palestinian people are having their land seized... and they are now being killed in their homes.
"All of this is illegal."
Former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn also spoke, saying: "It's our global voices that will give succour, comfort and support in those settlements alongside Gaza and all over the West Bank, East Jerusalem who are suffering at this time."

The “Palestinian people” who are from Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, SA, Jordan etc are unwanted by all other Arab muslim countries. It was never their land. Hamas gained its territory from Israel’s largess and turned the greenhouse farms into weapons factories. Dozens of Hamas’ over 1100 rockets fell on its own territory, killing its own citizens in their homes but that’s OK because they are now Martyrs, like the uncounted Hamas dead and wounded fighters left in the now collapsed tunnels to avoid funerals revealing the true cost.

I will be 60 years old this November and I am of the opinion that extreme prejudice against these subhuman islamic people is the only solution . Cull these heathens to the point where they are no longer an issue. I have been seeing this same scene play out for 40-50 years and I am void of empathy for any who follow allah and their quaran Koran or any way you want spell it. The followers of islam are the most murderous and satanic group to ever walk this amazing earth. Their is no living with these animals within borders of Judeo/Christian borders . Eradicate and let them rot while absconding with anything of value,then and only then will this stagnant scene end so as to allow grounded persons within Gods framework accomplish anything as opposed to what we all have been witnessing since the beginning of recorded time. Hamas tried to launch an armed Drone today against Israel....where do they have funds or ability for drones!!! Happily it fell and took the life of two who were trying to launch it.
The Brits have long since given over their country to moslems. At least London. It’s a sad story.
