Biden team moves swiftly to tackle pipeline political peril

The Biden administration swung aggressively into action after a primary gasoline pipeline fell prey to a cyberattack — understanding that the situation posed a possible series of political and economic risks.

The pipeline shutdown was an all-hands-on-deck situation for a young presidency that has also had to deal with a pandemic, a recession, an influx of unaccompanied children at the southern border, a troop withdrawal from Afghanistan and high-stakes showdowns globally that carry the specter of war.

The administration devoted the first half of the week to showcasing all the steps it was taking to get gas back to service stations in affected areas. It scrambled into action after ransom-seeking hackers on Friday shut down the pipeline, which delivers about 45% of the East Coast’s gas. The shutdown caused a supply crunch and spiking prices — all of which the administration was preparing to address.

What a joke. Xiden continues to drool and mumble while America burns.

It's hard enough for them to get the precise Rx cocktail mixture for his damaged brain.

WH Staffer: "Cancel the meeting! He's overdosed again!"

They didn’t, they “circled back” with nothing, because, you see, their pantries and freezers are full, they have chauffeured Tahoes and Escalades at their disposal (not to mention Military Jets) and all of the perks that their exemption from real life grants them. And why? They are #SoMuchMoreEqualThanYou and that! Shall we say, is the truth..

If I were POTUS, starting last Friday I would of instructed the US military to start trucking fuels around to the impacted areas from the origin point of the pipeline.

BTW the commercial tank trucking industry is 25% short on drivers. $85k per year job and they can’t fill positions.

What stunned me was that when Biden..or a government official reprinting him, at least ...was asked what the US was doing about this and whether the company should pay the ransom, he just shrugged and said it was their problem because this wasn’t a problem that affected national security!

The shut down of most fuel to the East Coast, including the
Atlanta airport, is not a US security issue? These people don’t take anything seriously. They have no clue.

And Whitmer’s trying to shut down more pipelines. Even the crooked Granholm is admitting pipelines are the way to go.

But now Biden’s got a lump on his head, so the new narrative cycle about how poor Joe’s got terminal (fill in the blank) will begin and we’ll get a replacement anarcho-tyrant soon.

Oh, they’ve got a clue.

This is about security the way WuFlu is about public health.

Biden (or whatever is behind him) just didn’t take it seriously. They’re on their campaign against petroleum anyway, so they probably secretly supported it.

Yes, they’re just fine. No commuting for them! Who cares about the price of gas? Who has to .... what is it the little people do, “work?” ... anyway?

Cutting out access to “fossil fuels” is not ignorant - it is part of the plan to bring a recalcitrant people into a more tractable frame of mind. Sure, the Joe Stolen/Chameleon Harris regime could open up the spigots and restore the flow of cheap and easily accessible energy, but it is like teasing a cat with red laser light dots, the cat is never going to trap that light.

Fear of losing what you once had drives a lot of people to irrational acts they would not undertake during less turbulent times. Stoking that fear allows the puppet masters to impose a level of micromanagement that otherwise not be probable or even possible.

Personally, I think Biden and the gang just didn’t care. The word “pipeline” probably triggered them and they were hoping this was their eco-dream coming true.

Btw, I read in a more detailed report in the British press that this group of hackers has attacked something like 80 US companies (most smaller and more vulnerable) and has gotten them to pay the ransom. And our famed security forces knew nothing about it, weren’t expecting an attack on a bigger, more strategic company, and nobody was alarmed when it happened? I guess they’re too busy searching Rudy Giuliani’s iCloud account.
