Wow! He was also a prolific director and producer.
He produced 228 episodes of the Hitchcock TV show from 1957 to 1965, and he directed 22 of them.

If you’re interested, check out an episode of “Alfred Hitchcock Hour” Norman Lloyd directed entitled “The Jar.” My opinion is it’s one of the best things ever on TV. RIP Norman Lloyd.

Here is a Hitchcock show he produced and directed, based on a story by Ray Bradbury.
"The Jar" (1964)
Like a lot of the Hitchcock shows, it was something different.

He was an amazing actor and I bet he knew the stories. He was a close friend of John Garfield’s.

He's the guy who in Saboteur who shows up at the defense plant in LA, at the Soda City ghost town in Death Valley. Finally at the end he falls off the Statue of Liberty as "Love That Bob" looks on.

Yes, he played a superb bad guy in Saboteur. Born in 1914, the same year World War I (a.k.a. The Great War) began. The execrable Regressive Woodrow Wilson was president. What an accomplished life. R.I.P., Mr. Loyd.

Lloyd played the cynical machine gunner in the excellent WW2 movie “A Walk In The Sun’’. Richard Conte was his fellow machine gunner.
Lloyd was always cryptically predicting the next war would be "In Tibet. Tibet I tell you.''
