...the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) says that 18% of all COVID-19 cases were reported in children during the month of April. Michigan, where COVID-19 is surging, saw a 237% increase in pediatric hospital admissions between mid-February to mid-April. Children usually have mild reactions to COVID-19, but a small percentage develop potentially deadly multi-system inflammatory syndrome or MIS-C. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that there were 3,185 confirmed cases of MIS-C in the U.S. since May 2020, and 36 deaths as a result of the syndrome, says GMA.

In case anyone is wondering, yes, I know VAERS is observational data and a decade of research would be required to prove a causal relationship. However, we can always resort to common sense....

March 18, 2020 her 5 month old breastfed infant developed a rash and within 24 hours was inconsolable, refusing to eat, and developed a fever.

Patient brought baby to local ER where assessments were performed, blood analysis revealed elevated liver enzymes.

Infant was hospitalized but continued to decline and passed away. Diagnosis of TTP. No known allergies. No new exposures aside from the mother's vaccination the previous day.

Free advice:

If you want to deal in facts, you need to cease calculating ‘case fatality’ and focus on fatality rates by population.

‘Cases’ number is a wildcard; population is relatively fixed and, laid side-by-side with other causes of death, speaks for itself.

If my pre-coffee math is correct, you’re reporting a mortality rate of 0.00002% for children under 14. That correlates with my collective calculations for a mortality rate of 0.0054% for <50.

i.e. ZERO justification for the virus ‘vaccines’, masks, 3-foot rules, closed schools, isolation, etc., etc....

A virus that happens to mutate in such a way as to more successfully invade a body's cells and make copies of itself will tend to spread more to other previously less vulnerable individuals.

An artificial spike protein, or in some cases, messenger RNA, will not replicate itself. Only the whole, live virus will do that. A small amount of parts of spike proteins or mRNA will only stay in part of a body, which will call antibodies to be produced against the inert spike protein. Shedding of antibodies won't hurt anyone else, but it won't be sizable enough to make others more immune, either. Those antibodies will only help the vaccinated person.

I did some more digging, and it looks like the mRNA vaccines do cause our cells to produce their own spike proteins but without the virus. Then I looked up some simple explanations. Hope these help.

The spike proteins would then be destroyed, in effect, by our neutralizing antibodies (NAbs) and prevented from binding and fusing to cells. Not that it would matter, because there’s no virus under them to begin with. I’ll post more information for you right after this comment.

As mRNA is extremely fragile and does not enter the cell nucleus or genome, it gets degraded easily and has strict storage conditions and a short lifespan. In animal and cell culture research, the mRNA vaccines induced the highest protein production within 48 hours and declined soon after. Thus, mRNA-indued protein production is short-term. As follows, any harmful effects of the spike proteins will be observable within a few days.

Indeed, flu-like symptoms — such as fever, chills, fatigue, and headache — may happen within 1–2 days following Covid-19 mRNA vaccination. Rare allergic reactions may also happen within a few minutes of vaccination. But no prevalent life-threatening side effects have been documented in clinical trials of Covid-19 mRNA vaccines, at least in the span of two months. This is assuring as mRNA-induced spike protein production should be gone by then, at least in animal findings and according to rules of mRNA genetics.

Besides, human clinical trials have found potent B-cell and T-cell immune reactions specific for the SARS-CoV-2 spike proteins within a few days of receiving a given mRNA vaccine. This indicates that any spike proteins the Covid-19 vaccines introduce are quickly taken care of by the immune system. Perhaps the mRNA vaccines make our cells produce spike proteins in safe amounts that are favorable for training the immune system.

They’re not like metal spikes on tools that we use. They’re only called “spike” proteins because of their appearance. They don’t poke. Some months ago a friend of mine wanted vaccine advice. My main concern at the time was the Steal and corruption of the Swamp.

I saw mixed reports. Not much came out. But people here in this forum took the vaccine and said they were fine. Others mocked the anti-vaxxers. I shared every report, good and bad, that I found. Since Trump took it, she decided to trust it.

She also wanted a listing as ‘compliant’ in health care . Being elderly, she doesn't want to get on their bad side

Now she regrets it. Bad reactions, especially her mental state. She is creeped out. She slowly improved, but not completely. Even now sometimes white ‘splinters’ are stuck in her back along with an orbit of inflamed blood vessels. I used tweezers to remove a couple. No explanation of how they got there.
