President of the American Federation of Teachers Teacher Union Randi Weingarten defended indoctrinating children with Critical Race Theory on Thursday.
Featured on the Black News Channel with anchor Charles Blow, Weingarten said, “All of the sudden, you’re hearing people talk about Critical Race Theory; people who have no idea what that term means.”
She contended certain Americans are “trying to ban the 1619 project because it is trying to do exactly what you’re saying, which is to actually teach, uh, factual version of oppression in America, oppression of people who are in the in the indigenous nation, and oppression against people who were enslaved.”

Weingarten’s defense comes after Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) “led 38 other Republican senators in a letter Thursday to U.S. Education Secretary Miguel Cardona, calling upon him to withdraw the New York Times’ ‘1619 Project’ from taxpayer-funded grant programs,” Breitbart News reported May 1.
The Idaho House and Senate on April 28 approved legislation to block schools from compelling K-12 and higher education students to “affirm or adopt the tenets” of Critical Race Theory.
The battle over Critical Race Theory largely began when former President Trump directed the White House Office of Management and Budget in September of 2020 “to identify and eliminate any trace” of Critical Race Theory in the federal government.

I find it interesting that perhaps the most ignorant professional group out there is the one that thinks that they are ‘eddikators’.
Oh well, you pursue a boxtop degree in scattered nothingness attainable by anyone who can avoid drooling on the book, you get the NEA members.
My apologies to all the dedicated teachers (not ‘eddikators’) who care about their profession and actually like children. You can tell those because they think the same about the NEA that we all think about slime molds.

This is what happens when you give out ology and studies “degrees” and allow people to think they be edumacated. She teaches a dead language (a tool really): Calculus.

Broad? Should I have said most teachers or something to that degree? Given I taught and witnessed such for a decade and a half thereabouts, and left in disgust because of it, what am I ‘broadly’ painting here?

Well....I had one of those Blue Lives Matters stickers on my rural mailbox. That's about the time I started suffering late charges on my credit card and utilities payments...I had mailed the letters in my mail box but they never arrived.
I believe the USPS union people threw them away.
I took the sticker off, problem solved.

For indoctrinating children with Critical Race Theory, American Federation of Teachers Union President Randi Weingarten should be arrested, charged, tried, convicted and sentenced for child abuse, race crimes, and giving aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States.
Whether in academics or technical, many of my co-workers “see” the damage that many public school systems have wrought on the youngsters with respect to teaching them how to think. It’s been fairly obvious throughout the years that many students coming from the smaller school districts (rural) more or less know how to think whereas the larger school districts (cities) are putting out knuckleheads. Blows my mind the number of students that can’t read a tape measure or ruler.
Are the public schools shortchanging our children? In many instances, yes they are. Let’s at least distinguish between rural and city students as there is generally a substantial difference in the quality of student. In addition, the same can be said of teachers. Location, location, location.
Isn’t it AFT that is also advising the CDC on school guidelines?
The #1 obstacle to reopening schools here in Commiefornia is not actually Newscum but the teachers’ unions. If we succeed in recalling Newscum they will still be a force to be reckoned with unless by some miracle we can find someone with the gonads to stand up to them.
