Indeed...quite spooky really.
Socialism survives by empowering the lower class, who tend to be rather stupid.
Regimes built on such a foundation tend not to last long, and end in the way they began - in flames.
The lower classes, be they workers or peasants or whatever, are only used to bring about the revolution. Once the revolution is complete, they are discarded like worn-out shoes.
For all its promises of equality and utopia and empowerment, communism is really just a tool used to install and maintain a totalitarian government.
Totalitarian regimes fail because they are founded on masses of not too bright peasants and workers, and have to rely on them to achieve their aims.
Those who use herds of stupid cattle to achieve their aims tend to propagate larger herds of stupid cattle to do so, and in time the herds become large enough and useless enough that they destroy the regimes that created them.
An example is Garveyism, which was destroyed by those it empowered.
BLM is a latter day form of the same and will destroy those who embrace it.
