A very pleasant good Thursday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.

How's everyone doing this morning?

They were interesting to watch. I was guessing they had some repairs to make on one or both of them, for them to stay in that one spot for so long. But, I just got snippets of the chat, and I didn’t read anything about why they were there for that length of time.

We have eaten many a casserole through the years. And then we got tired of them. I didn’t work at restaurants, so I guess it was more appealing to me that it would have been if I had to smell it all day long. I probably wouldn’t have much of an appetite either.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

Did you and Gizmo have fun at Wichita Ridge? I hope it was warmer yesterday than it was Tuesday. The front must have cooled y’all down more than it did us. It was sweater weather here vs. your winter jumpsuit weather.

There wasn’t much said in chat about what they were doing to the Ospreys because no one really knew. It looked more like inspections than it did maintenance but there could have been some repairs.
I liked it when they came in and took off because they were so loud.

Yeah, if you work in restaurants, they’re the last place you want to eat. LOL Even now I don’t care to eat out often and I haven’t worked for 20 years.

Those airplanes fascinate me with their props that turn into rotors for landing in small places. Just neat planes.

Guess I’d better go. I haven’t caught up with having to get up at 7:30am twice already this week. LOL! It’s not good for a night owl! See ya tomorrow!

BTW...I think Texas will finally get Constitutional carry passed. Fingers crossed that the dems don’t mess things up when it goes back to the house before the governor can sign it...and he’s said he would.

It was a little bit warmer than yesterday but still kind of cool and crsip. There were some people there but not many:

Gizmo did quite a bit of rolling around yesterday. I was able to get a couple of pictures

I was also able to get a couple of head shots:

Here is the view of the Corum Bridge from our location yesterday.

And finally, Gizmo getting a drink.

We plan on doing Chisolm Trail Park later today.

Watching these aircraft the past couple of days has taken me back to when I lived with a sailor boyfriend in Norfolk, VA many, many, many moons ago. We lived off base and our apartment wasn’t all that far from the base. It sat right under the path for landings and takeoffs and the planes were pretty low when they went overhead. I loved it.
Especially when the C-5As came over. They blacked out the sky and shook the apartment. LOL
Those were the days.

Early mornings are very bad for night owls. :-) Get a good night’s sleep! I wish y’all luck on getting Constitutional carry passed.

Ooooooo, I wish we could get that clear blue sky here. We had sunshine but there were a lot of clouds floating by.

Gizmo seems to like that crisp weather. Makes him frisky. Gives him a real happy face too.

Have fun at Chisolm Trail Park today.

Sunny and cold today.

We loved that part of being in the Air Force. Living close to so many cool planes.

We have had C-5As fly over the house here. They do touch-and-gos at the local airport that has an extra-long runway. They are the funnest to watch! We call them Big Mac. LOL!

Oh...and WOOHOO for getting the 50. You KNOW I was tired when I didn’t see THAT coming. LOL!
