If we don't know and accept the truth that the election was stolen then I would question if we actually know anything at all. If somehow we convince ourselves that biden won then, using the same logic, we may just as well be convinced the moon is made of cheese.
Give to candidates and causes, not the party....

The "line that cannot be crossed" was crossed by Obama long ago. That line was the "double down."
Prior to the Obama administration, when scandal was uncovered the parties involved accepted the punishment and stepped down. With Obama, whenever a conflict arose he chose to "double down" instead of retreat.
Obama would push back against the exposure of his corruption and put Republicans on the defensive over making the accusations. This worked because Republicans don't have the spine to engage in a political brawl, and they would eventually cave to the pressure from Democrats and the media who were covering up the Obama excesses.
Cheney is apparently following that pattern herself. She has doubled down and cannot retreat from her position. She's all in and will ride this hand to the end.

You can pretend what happened didn't, and join the fascists in banning all mention of it. But we'll still know what you and your minions did. And yes, the GOP was in on it and still is. The poison pill was served up by YOU, Cheney, not Trump pointing out that it happened.
But I do appreciate the growing list of GOPe bungholes who are coming out and announcing how much they loathe the base. Now that they got rid of fair elections they are finally comfortable that they can tell us what they really think and display how despicable they truly are.
I am more convinced now that the election was stolen than I was when Dementia Joe was sworn in. This was a coup, pure and simple.
